Vrijeme je za zadnje pripreme za Croatia Trophy 2010.
Za malo manje od mjesec dana, u periodu od 29.04.-07.05.2010. odvijati će se još jedan CT na području Topuskog, a baza će i sada biti Staro Selo.
Prijavne liste je do sada popunilo oko 70-ak prijavljenih, a mogu se očekivati i dodatne “prijave po dolasku”.
Trenutno stanje prijavljenih posada izgleda ovako (abecednim redom: zemlja – broj posada):
Austrija (5); Belgija (6); Belgija/Nizozemska (1); Belgija/V.Britanija (1); Danska (1); Francuska (1); Hrvatska (8); Italija (5); Malta (3); Mađarska (2); Nizozemska (6); Njemačka (10); Rumunjska (5); Rusija (2); Slovenija (4); Švicarska (1); Velika Britanija (1).
CT Adventure ima 5 prijavljenih i to: Belgija (1); Nizozemska (2); Njemačka (1); Rusija (1), dok se za ATV vožnju prijavio vozač iz Italije (1), te iz Rumunjske (1).

Trasa neće biti ništa teža ili lakša nego svih ovih godina, jedino što će zbog broja učesnika biti puno teže nama u organizaciji.
A ostalo je klasično – u petak je na rasporedu prolog, Trophy Day se vozi u nedjelju, noćna etapa je u nedjelju nakon Trophy Day-a, a spremamo i kružnu trku u ponedjeljak.
Sve nabrojano je dostupno gledateljima, odnosno, lokacija za izvođenje zadataka je prilagođena gledateljima.
Zoran Švec – vozač (HR)
Prošle godine nisam mogao voziti zbog obiteljskih obveza, a ove godine CT završava 07.05., dok ja već idući dan moram biti na karting utrci u Ptuju koju vozi moja mlađa kćer Karla.
Inače, očekujem da dođem do kraja, tj. za završim CT.
Neću forsirati jer ne idem na neki rezultat, već da završim sve etape i trku.
Pretprošle godine mi je otišao motor pa smo ga onda složili i nastavili, ali smo izgubili 2 dana.
Nadam se da će ove godine biti više sreće i da neću propuštati etape.
Također se nadam da ćemo si mi – naše domaće posade, kojih ove godine ima dosta, međusobno pomagati kako bi svi lakše odvozili CT i uz to sudjelovali na svim etapama.

First of all at this moment we are working very hard to fininsh the Land Rover up to date !!!
We are expecting a good and challening event, as well organized as the last time we took part.
We are going back because its the most challening and demand trophy in europe.

The Croatia Trophy is for our team ‘THE’ trophy of the year…
We live a whole year to the throphy…
Making plans, making te car better, …
Once you do this, you would like to it every year !
Because of the beautiful nature, you can ride on places were you never come in your life, the organisation is good, the ast years we makes some friends on the Trophy and we would like to see them back there ! It is a part of our life…
I expected this year in the first place that i can drive every day out and that we not have to much technical problems… and if that is going well, than we started to hope on a better place then last year. (we ended 14°).
A top 10 would be nice…
This year I come on the start with a co-pilote from the UK; Dan Elias, he is a very famous driver in the UK.
We are a “new” combination, but i believe a lot in him and that is an important thing in our sport.
I have still a little work on my car;
The breakes must be better and the pto winch is broken at this moment…
So that is what we need to fix…
But we looking forward to the end of april…

It’s the second time I participate and third time present at the trophy.
With what we learned last year, I made some changes to the rhino.
Other progressive springs, heavy duty driveshafts, radiator in the back and some small changes.
I hope we have the same nice weather as last year.

Schnee: Are you looking forward to this years event ?
Jim: Yes very much so, but unfortunately we will not be attending as we are building a new car.
Schnee: : So you’re not coming?
Jim: No not to race, but we might attend to help support the many users of our high performance winches and to be there to give advice and technical back up if required.
But this is only an idea at present.
Schnee: You have been 3 times before and always been near the top, are you not just tempted to borrow a car and try your luck?
Jim:Ha, ha yes very much so, but I have to get the new truck finished and that must come first.
I am hoping to attend next year and be much faster and more reliable than before.
The Croatia trophy is a very special race and I cannot wait to be back on that start line.
I have looked the entry list for this year and it is an amazing line up with some very good crews and superb cars it will be an amazing event.

Last years event was absolutely fabulous from the atmosphere around the camp site between competitors to the organisation of the event .
Hopefuly the engine in the new truck will not explode on day 7 this year !!
To drive for Km & Km in wide open terrain making your own tracks most of the time isnt something you can do in many places these days!
Club 44 the Lagoon will really miss you this year !
